8. This has always been a problem.

Without a proper investigation, people from all walks of life are left to make their own determinations. The difficulty is understandable. The court of public opinion is an ugly beast.

“People who‘ve been assaulted know: we’re not confused.”

That is also an inaccurate statement and I’m sick of people lumping all victims into one basket. There is nothing wrong with understanding the trauma and shock that can go along with these incidents.

So much of what is being said about sexual assault survivors is in accurate. From all corners.
