So it's a miracle that any Dem got elected to the Senate there. I'm sad about Manchin's vote, but I'm not angry. With Flake and Murkowski both voting for Kavanaugh, his confirmation is certain. Manchin was not the one who put him over the top. And if voting for him helps us keep a seat in the Senate -- a Senate in which we only need 2 more seats to take control of ALL the committees -- then so be it.

He will often not be voting as we'd wish, but if we get the majority control, our majority leader will determine which bills get a vote in the first place. And which judges even get a hearing.
