4. Female percentage of the vote always drops in midterms

From typically 53% in presidential years to 51-51.5% in midterms

That is one basic reason we don't do as well in midterms. Young single women, in particular, tend to stay home.

Obviously we need the opposite trend this year, but the long term trends normally hold. I won't believe women as 53% this year until it happens.
