15. Exactly. McCain was not notably a social conservative,

but he absolutely was a very strong economic conservative. National holidays cost business and governments money. And so does the ACA. Just a little reading about McCain reveals that he was neither a wise nor a highly principled man. He did one great thing when he was very young in refusing the special treatment offered an admiral's son. Other than that, he was a very limited man.
