You want a bright side? They have awakened millions of voters who have previously considered voting too big a bother. They have enraged millions of voters who are looking for payback. In the previous national election, there were over 100 million eligible voters who didn't make the effort. Since then, records have been set for new registrations and a not insignificant slice of that 100 million have concluded that maybe voting matters.
