Think no Abortion, no contraceptives, why would any company invest in a woman when she can become pregnant and becomes a drag on the company. With no viable job, bankers can refuse to give her a loan, refuse to give her a mortgage, refuse her a credit card. To obtain all these things she of course needs a husband, without or someone to cosign for her.
