And the compliant media that gets rating$ out of horse races are all too happy to pass that bullshit along.

The trick is to destroy the illusion. Remember, it’s a cult that follows him, and believes he can do no wrong; they will be the toughest nuts to crack, but the message must be repeated: Trump is NOT winning, he is killing America and democracy.

Is Trump a symptom, and not the disease? I have a different angle: Trump is a metastatic expression of the disease, as capable of killing the host (America) as thoroughly as the original affliction (Republicanism).
