2. Chief Justice Roberts may be no help.

There has been some talk about Roberts concern for the reputation and standing of the court, that he may not go along with every 5 to 4 decision that the right wingers hope to win. This is what they said when he saved Obamacare by writing a narrow decision with the left. But I have my doubts. I read something that Roberts had, in his first few years on the court, sided with the larger, more powerful entity every time. Businesses over people, states over businesses, federal government over everyone. This was, if I remember correctly,
in over 200 court decisions. You would think that just one time the smaller plaintiff would be on the right side of the law. Roberts didn't see it that way.
