They're not our jobs. They're just jobs. If the job can be done somewhere else cheaper, faster, or whatever, for whatever reason, they'll be done somewhere else.

The US had the largest and most vibrant middle class that the world has ever seen...until the rest of the world got into/back into the game. It's not because the US middle class was exceptional. It was pretty much luck. The US middle class was almost born into it in a way. Happened to be in the right place at the right time.

There is a reason they call it the cost of living. The basic things are going to cost more as time goes by because we have 7 billion people either wanting more stuff, or wanting stuff before they want even more stuff. We also have to share the planet with a lot of other life. You know how if the 1% takes more and more for themselves, the infrastructure starts to crumble, and the 99% has a lower quality of life? It works the same way when humanity(the 1% of the planet) takes more and more for ourselves, and the infrastructure of the planet starts to diminish.
