16. Yeah, he's an asshole. But he's an asshole with bipolar disorder.

The "delusions of grandeur" that Mr. Scorpio speaks of is not exclusively attributable to assholes. It is one of the most significant indications of escalation into a manic attack (or being in the middle of such an attack) of those affected by the type of bipolar disease that is on the mania spectrum. I know this because my stepson is bipolar and is affected with manic episodes rather than the depressive state that sometimes follows episodes of mania in those who exhibit both symptoms of the spectrum. And my stepson is not an asshole or usually one to have "delusions of grandeur". He only acts this way when he is either verging on or at the height of a manic episode. Kanye West may indeed be an asshole. Great fame and wealth can do that to people. His hero tRump is a flaming asshole (and may or may not have some sort of undiagnosed mental or personality disorder, though I'd argue to the contrary there). But Kanye, in addition to being an asshole, is also a person with a mental disease, and his type of disease will definitely exacerbate his "assholeness" when he's not medicated. And it will make him a particular target of users and cons of the ilk of his buddy, Mr. tRump , the modern P.T. Barnum, who is always looking for another of the "there's a sucker born every minute" to exploit.
