4. Twenty-something days out gives us time

I wouldn't bet on this race one way or another. My vote goes to O'Rourke, as does my support and my voice. A lot of net-nannies (even on DU) are instructing us to ignore his campaign and deny him contributions, but these clowns and hacks haven't seen the energy he's infused into blue Texas.

He could even lose the campaign, but he's changed something... he's given blue Texas a hope and excitement for not merely today, but tomorrow as well, that has even the Washington right-wing on edge.

The campaign season is now well and truly under way. The polling over the past month has been as volatile as an Atlantic hurricane-- in one direction but for a moment, and next week today's numbers will be last week's numbers.

We're energizing the Democratic base in TX like we haven't in twenty years. Will it be enough? I'm not a self-assigned prophet. But I have hope and a vote and a voice.

We're trying down here.
