Tennis balls, softballs, bicycle crossbars, and possibly a kick or two during a scuffle.

In most cases, there is much pain, much laughter by onlookers. But, a few minutes later, or half an hour later, maybe with an ice bag, and voila, good as new, back in the game.

The pain of sexual assault is not gone in half an hour, maybe not gone in half a lifetime. The consequences are far-reaching.

No comparison.
