out more than once. But what I've pointed out many times is how California has always provided public services to help care for people who arrived from hypocritical Bible Belt states that neglected, rejected and even actively abused them.

If they really want to know what Jesus would do, they should try asking a Californian. I've noticed, though, that a lot fewer of them are asking that question in this era. Apparently compartmentalization isn't always guilt-tight.
