It eclipses the actual danger and destructive nature of the content within their words and actions. I think it's no accident in some cases. Like when Trump was railing about how he would have won the popular vote if not for voter fraud. People were focused on the like and how "crazy" and dumb he is. Now in person voter fraud has become something people believe happens regularly, and it has been the basis for imposing additional limits on voting rights.
