Question about conspiracy and/or felony murder in re Khashoggi case (and others) [View all]
Let's say that someone in the United States, like a totally hypothetically named person who I shall call Shmared Shmushner, provided information to the Saudis which he knew/believed was going to be used to assist them in kidnapping and torturing (or extorting) someone. Does it matter where those crimes are carried out? Could he be charged in the US under felony murder laws if the kidnapping, battery, and murder occurred overseas?
