It was actually much closer to the original was than the "Roseanne" revival. Which is a good thing. The previous version seemed forced, and it appears the writers took that criticism to heart with this new iteration. My only difficulty was getting used to John Goodman. He's lost a ton of weight--even since the other series.

Speaking of "forced"... The show that followed it... WOOF! I'll go back to watching the "Chicago P.D." rerun, like I had been.
