7. The Texas Latino demographic trends young...

Compared to the rest of the voting blocks in Texas. Younger groups often turn out in lower numbers. Add into that the reasons Texas is overall third from last in the states when it comes to voter participation, across the board. Many of this group are also extremely jaded when it comes to the political process. Oppression is real and they get it from local, state, and federal agencies.

There are many great groups working to get them to the polls. That might not be as pretty as some think. The subset as a whole is distrustful of government and even though there has been a little gap forming, many still have inherent Catholic tendencies. That normally equates to a Republican vote. I feel many of that group are currently willing to sit things out.
