Female candidate told to not "get hysterical" over the abortion/right to choose [View all]

I was looking for a video of the debate this past week, but I have not seen it on YouTube or elsewhere. If the campaign posts a snippet, I'll add it in below.

The state senate in Connecticut is tied - 22 or 23 Republicans and the same number of Democrats. Kevin Witkos has been a long time Republican incumbent in the state's 8th Senate District for 10 years and is up against Melissa Osborne of Simsbury for the seat. (They're 2 year terms, so he was elected in 2008, then re-elected in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016)

In the debate this past week, Osborne brought up abortion and the right to choose as being under attack. In response, Witkos told her to not "get hysterical" over the issue.

There was an audible gasp from the audience.

I wasn't there, but was told by a reliable person that was there - she said she was very impressed with Osborne overall.
