Did YOU ever try to rein in some of this shit at the campaign level? Did YOU ever promote or otherwise help the most vicious and conniving conspiracy wackos that slither around the edges of CON campaigns?

Any and Every GOP apologist and activist and political operative bears some of the blame for outcomes like these. If you stood there at the mixing bowl and stirred the cake batter or brought over the eggs or cup of milk, or you fixed the oven light before the mix went in for baking, you DO NOT get to claim you weren’t involved when that finished cake is ready to eat.
