like whether al gore thought he was an engineer who invented the internet.
or whether a helmet was a poor fashion choice for mike dukakis
or whether a kerry literally shot himself in the foot to "win" a purple heart.
or whether obama, with a mother from kansas, was a u.s. citizen at birth.
or whether the four or so flags burned in anger each year is should be out nation's highest priority.
or something about some technical decisions about where to put an email server.

yeah, republicans are always keen to talk about "things that matter".
