In an airplane hanger at our airport. One of the local CBS news affiliates reported that the hanger would hold 6700 people with overflow staying outside to watch on Jumbotron. They breathlessly covered the screening and lines of people waiting to get in. At one point they announced that there were more than 6,000 inside already. They showed a few pictures of the inside crowd but I was suspicious about the number already inside. It just did not appear to be many thousands of people.

Today our local newspaper naturally covered the rally as it was a big deal. (Well, for some people. The TV interviews done prior to the rally were gag worthy with people gushing about how excited they were to see tRump.). In today’s paper the crowd was estimated at 3,000 +. That is a far cry from 6700 already inside with people still waiting to get in.

Someone is not correct. My hunch is the smaller number. No doubt, here in NW FL there are rabid tRump fans, but like everywhere else in this country, there were folks who voted for trump who now have buyer’s remorse. I just can’t believe that THOSE people would come out for a rally.

Crowd size should be a no brainer. People had to have a ticket issued by the Republican Party. There appeared to be ONE ENTRANCE to that hanger and they were entering single file. One ticket = one attendee. Someone with a clicker standing there could get a second count. No more guessing.

But then tRump would rather give HIS Estimate, wouldn’t he? He is such an expert at that.
