4. I don't know if it was a "fad" last year, but...

the VA hospital I go to spent a lot of time asking me if I had bouts of depression.

They don't ask me anymore, and I don't know if it's because they have me down as a low suicide risk or just gave up on the whole thing. Agent orange problems for Vietnam vets is the big thing now.

Mostly I see Vietnam era vets at this place, with a smattering of Korea vets. I'm starting to see more younger ones, though, and as more show up with the war winding down, it raises questions. I've had few concerns about their work with physical health, and I hope they're properly ramping up the mental health services.
