(5,869 posts)Unemployment benefits, maybe. That entire list is laugh-out-loud stupid, but I was reading an article this morning that said Ryan's economic plan (a.k.a., Fuck All Y'all, I Got Mine!) would wipe out 1 million jobs in 2013 and more than 4 million by 2014. I'd like to know what kind of math this woman is using that she thinks 5 million fewer jobs is saying goodbye to unemployment.
And those bailouts? The auto and bank bailouts were approved on Bush's watch, not Obama's. Republicans and Teabaggers want to pretend they weren't, but they were. Bush even said back in February of this year that he'd do the auto bailout again, so how can she think it was the Obama administration? Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were also bailed out by the Bush administration, unless Obama is a shapeshifting time-traveler who went back in time to 2008 and signed the bill into law while masquerading as Dubya. (Uh-oh. The GOP might just be crazy and desperate enough to latch onto that idea. Sorry, everyone.)
So. much. wrong. with that shirt....
Edit: Mea culpa--the Obama administration has also provided bailout funds to the auto industry, so even though the bailouts were approved by Bush during his term, I was wrong in thinking it was only the Bush administration that gave 'em money. ¡Viva Google!
