that association gives them community cred and helps them attract advertising.

many of those associations go back decades but after reagan killed the fairness doctrine in 87 the cons bought up a lot of those stations. now they may as well have been bought up by the NRA and the KKK. they're making excuses for trump kidnapping kids, lying about diseased thug caravans, treasonous kneeling athletes, guns don't kill people, etc.

in the eg above from NM the two dolts even suggested obama should be in jail and when a caller politely suggested they were twits the main talker declared he had the guy's phone number and maybe should expect a call back.

that same guy said this a couple of years ago when they were attack liberals for their sanctuary cities

so 30 years ago those stations were bought up to sell racism, war, global warming denial, media monopolization (deregulation will lower costs! etc), money in politics (money is speech, corporations are people, etc), and create made to order pro-corporate constituencies to kill single payer and whatever other major reforms americans want.

go to one of the stations your alma mater broadcasts on and listen to some limbaugh and the others on there who parrot him and hear them attack mueller and make excuses for trump while waving your school's banners.

This is the result of two generations of college education that campus and the the corruption and the perversion there has become mainstreamed in American pop culture. It's not on the fringes. (Ironically, more than 260 of the Limbaugh stations depend on at least 88 major universities to continue to broadcast sports on them, even as they attack science, students, ‘liberal’ universities, and African American athletes.)

I will grant that among some of these protesters bussed in that there's a lot of acting and they're reciting scripts that they've memorized.

They have as an objective a ruined nation and total human destruction of their opponents. That's us. Do not doubt me on this.

Sorry never Trumpers but the right manners and comportment and so forth isn't going to cut it.

we're very lucky we have somebody willing to push back against that from the highest levels of power in the country.
