Because the Republicans will spin the narrative for their own benefit, the way they always do. We need to prove that we can get things done on behalf of the American people, as hard as that will be. Of course, one advantage of holding the House (and the pursestrings) will mean McConnell's plan to ransack Medicare and Social Security is off the table. As well as anymore crazy tax giveaways to the rich and famous.

Lots of fancy footwork will be required over the next 2 years. A challenge but one I'm sure leadership has been mapping out and anticipating.
