9. Grassley is calling out Romney's stupidity

Yes, Grassley is a Republican. Yes, he supports GOP candidates.

However, let's at least give him credit for calling out Romney for his blatant stupidity and doing it publicly. Grassley didn't have to do that. He could have quietly made a phone call to Romney and chewed him out privately.

Grassley threw a punch. I disagree with most everything Grassley does and says--but when a conservative Republican publicly denounces when a fellow Republican is dead wrong--we should at least be supportive.

Grassley will NEVER side with Romney when it comes to this issue.

Iowa is in the middle of one of the worst droughts in history. Farmers are hurting and many are facing a season with no income. They're frightened and upset. Romney comes along and says, "Oh, and you farmers who are facing economic disaster, I'm also going to take away the subsidies that you receive for hosting wind turbines on your land. Have a nice day."

That's cruel and sick--and Romney is only doing this to appease his big-oil buddies who want their competition destroyed.

Even Grassley, a very conservative politician--can see when politics runs off the rails and becomes absurd. I give Grassley much credit for publicly admonishing Romney, during his Presidential campaign, and revealing him for the radical, ridiculous asshat that he is. This will probably help Obama win Iowa. This was a bold step from Grassley.
