Yes, Pelosi does understand the system. However, the onslaught of tRump and the rapidly changing political environment in which we live has brought about the rise in power of people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Beto O’Rourke and numerous young talented politicians who do not necessarily see her as the shining beacon of leadership. They want change on their terms and Pelosi may not be the one they need. How often have we as Democrats taken well deserved pot shots at the old white boy clan of the Republican Party? We as a nation have had the battle field changed by the Republican Party, and now may be the time for our new, younger, more aggressive newly elected to fight fire with fire.
Term limits are the answer.
