1. We are sad about Toys R Us too

The past three or four years, we have taken a few bucks in to our local Toys R Us and been what they call a "lay away angel". The store manager would pull up some lay away accounts that only had a little bit left to pay and we would pay them off except for the last dime. Couldn't pay it 100% because then the computer would assume that the people had taken their toys home with them. We paid with cash so it was totally anonymous. The store manager would then call the people and tell them that their order was paid and they could come and pick it up. One of the best feelings in the world. Don't know where I can do this again this year. Target doesn't do Lay away. I don't shop at Walmart. Sigh.
