That last line does not make sense.
Therefore, we are committed to voting for new leadership in both our Caucus and on the House Floor.
They can try to vote for different leadership in the Caucus. But once it goes to the House Floor their own option is to vote the Democratic or Republican nominee or not vote. The last two options will be suicide for them. Once the Democratic Caucus decides their nominee they can't put forward their own nominee.
The leadership also decides the committee assignments including the chairs.
