to even believe any longer that his ouster will come by way of a political solution.
I'm very happy that the Democratic party now at least controls the House and that the Blue Wall has been rebuilt. That gives me some ( a very small amount) reason to have a bit of optimism. But the fact remains he came into power both illegitimately and illegally, and we liberal and progressives did nothing. In fact many of us said "let's give him a chance". Too many of us on the left are willing to allow this catastrophe to endure. Very easily we could have shut down this country and held trump and the new American nazi party hostage until they relinquished their illicit hold on the levers of power. We could have did it legally, yet we feared. Everyday their power grew due to our complacency and in many cases our cowardice. Instead of looking in the mirror and realizing we must be our own heroes, we pawned off the job to others, and sat back and only sighed as they failed to slay this orange demon. Now we hope for the impossible, namely the removal of this stain, this utter mistake, by way of the House. Already, however, we see the main leadership worried more about votes, votes that they never get thru concession, instead of doing what must be done. What is it that must be done? The system must be brought to a complete stop. Power can not be shared, and there can be no comprise with absolute evil. Absolute evil is what the republican is, and in this form they are not our countrymen, they are our enemies. If America truly did not want trump after these two years of misadventures than America would have given the dems the Senate as well. That did not happen. This is a nation far too divided to endure. The schism can never be healed, yet complete separation now without much suffering and pain is now impossible. No, the glory days of America is now over. America, like it or not, is a failed state. Perhaps I am wrong, but I certainly don't believe that I am.
