I guess there are some that need to read headlines like Trump is gong down! or The end of Trump! or they'd be lost in hopeless depression. I get that. But I also read a ton of OPs during the Bush era like "Bush is going down!" and "the End of Cheney!, and photoshopped pictures of KKKarl Rove in handcuffs.

This is what scares me:
"Already, however, we see the main leadership worried more about votes, votes that they never get thru concession, instead of doing what must be done"

All we do is concede, capitulate, and crumble. All to get a few scraps added to another monster GOP bill for the wealthy. For which Lead Democrats will stand in front of the cameras crowing about their great success. Somehow, even after so many losses in the last decade, it looks like we are adamant to continue with this status quo losing way. Pretending that Trump is the problem, not the GOP. All for fear of taking the risk of doing the right thing for the big picture. Afraid of McConnell, Fox News, and Rush Limpballs. Would it be a gamble to go full bore all guns blazing? Damn right. But that is what the public sees coming from the other side and anything less is simply not respected anymore. Going high when they go low used to work. It doesn't anymore.

I wish to gawd we had someone like Avenatti in our top leadership calling the shots, speaking for the party, scaring the bejesus out of the GOP and Trump on a daily basis. But more than that he understands the mood of the country and what the public is now expecting in so far as passion, and not backing down instead of desperately running at the football they are finally holding up for us to kick, now that we have the house. Instead of blindsiding them and tackling the ball holder, grabbing the ball and running for a touchdown.

I still have a bit of hope though that they have learned a lesson watching Obama try to be the nice guy, only to have almost every accomplishment either reversed, or crippled once they gained power back. That they now know it is war.
