I recall a few members voting for someone else.
Maybe the 5whiteguys all plan to vote for Ryan or Moulton, then hope that as the voting keeps going until someone gets to 218, more members go for one of them and Pelosi decides to drop out to keep peace. But it seems like more of a plan to try and force Pelosi out before the caucus vote.
