As to what he did when he had the power, you could see that he was an essential person for the Paris climate pact and he was the founder of the OUR OCEANS conferences that are happening each year. I watched his major speeches on CSPAN. His biggest problem was that other than CSPAN, his convention, and the debates, he got very little unfiltered coverage by the media.

As to Iraq, his NYU speech in September on the issue said far more. Additionally, his Pennsylvania speech on terrorism reflected that he expressed concerns with non state terrorism as early as the 1990s.
