5. Pence will be able to get sworn in, unless

he is also impeached -- probably in a separate trial. Both of them impeached would be a very long shot. However, a Prez Pence would be extremely weak - basically nothing but a space holder. Not able to get nominated, but the another reason for Republican "let's rebuild the GOP from the ground up." Rebuilding the GOP will be a decades-long effort. Personally, I don't think that it can be done. Way too much bad stinky baggage for the "New Republican Party" to emerge. But who knows? I could be wrong.
