But who wants to be fair to a guy named "Darcy"?

No really, Obama was running uncontested in Iowa. If there were uncommitteds in the room, I believe they had to form a group that comprised at least 15% of the caucus goers there, otherwise, "uncommitted" is considered not viable, and the people have to find another candidate (Obama being the only one), or leave.

Obviously, Mr. Uncommitted did not get the requisite 15%.

FYI: Democrats do not "vote" with ballots in the Iowa caucus like Republicans do. It's all about forming groups of supporters, and then just counting heads.
