Not that he was a sheriff or a husband or anything else. Just that he committed crimes, was pardoned by the worst human in history, but that his crimes could not be erased. There could even be a picture of the tent prison.

This is false. A pardon can be used to correct an incorrect guilty verdict, e.g., dna evidence.
