18. Just because the GOP is fracturing is not a predictor

of any impending demise of the Republican Party. I've heard that kind of prediction before.
The GOP will never die as long as there are those on the Left who are not vigilant and become complacent, either self-suppressing their votes by not bothering to show up or simply by not voting for the Democratic candidates when it's going to be either them or the Republicans that win in nearly every race.

And even if the GOP were truly fracturing, it's not going to be fun to watch. Who actually believes that such a thing could happen without people getting hurt in one way or another, innocent people, people on the Left.
Also, never underestimate the ability of the Left, of Democrats, to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Those who dance and gloat and celebrate last, dance and gloat and celebrate best.
The clearest path to victory and success is to keep fighting the good battle until the end and not counting on your opposition to collapse.
