In reply to the discussion: I'd vote for Amy Carter over Clinton's kid anyday [View all]longship
(40,416 posts)1. Why even bring up Chelsea Clinton in this post?
You didn't name her, but we all know what you meant.
Stop it. Stop it! STOP IT!
What has Clinton's daughter done to you, or any of the other DUers who seem intent on maligning her.
Since many of you seem to need some schooling on this subject, I will leave you all with the following quote by Joseph N. Welch during the Senate McCarthy hearings:
Senator, may we not drop this? We know he belonged to the Lawyers Guild. Let us not assassinate this lad further, Senator. You've done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?
It seems that too fucking many DUers were not alive during the McCarthy era. Another quote by George Santayana comes to mind here.
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
Enough is fucking enough. Stop this!!

I wouldn't vote for Hilary, either... I hope she doesn't muck up the primaries in 2016. nt
