7. Why is this even under discussion?

Is Amy running for a national office? If she is I'd love to know-I'd check out her platform any day! You don't hear from her all that often. I'd just assumed she was happy with what she's doing right now, though I'm sure the support would be there if she ever made a decision of that nature.

As to Chelsea-she's not running right now. She never actually said she would run. What she did say was that basically she'd keep her options open in the future. Other sections of the article made mention that her more immediate plans in the next few years were to start a family. Let's wait until the kids come along and then see what happens-peoples plans change and so does their perspective. With a child she could become more conservative or she could become one of the most liberal public figures. Heck, if she has a child she might decide not to even consider a run for office.

Let's cross that bridge-either bridge-when we come to it. Until then the speculation is just silly.
