The Republican establishment in NC is evil beyond your wildest nightmares. After all, these are the political descendants of Jesse Helms.

Personally, we couldn't stand living in Mark Meadows' district anymore. I knew Price would loose the 11th, even with some money and organization behind the Dem candidate for a change. My better half was ever hopeful, but the inevitable was the inevitable. I know these people too well. Don't get me wrong, they're not all wicked, white supremist scum bags. They're just politically and religiously propagandized well beyond the point of no return. Outside of politics and religion, they're wonderful folks. Religiously and politically, many are throw backs to the 15th century. So, when given the opportunity, we left. For me, if worse comes to worse for this country, I'd much rather be here than there.
