Pauley is a Clinton appointee.
Cohen's sentencing is scheduled for December 12 (next Tuesday). Cohen has submitted his sentencing memo asking for no jail time. The ball is in Mueller's court to submit the prosecution's sentencing memo, which might agree with Cohen (unlikely I think), suggest less time than the sentencing guidelines recommend or an amount of jail time at the low end of the guidelines (probably I think) or more time than the guidelines (or a sentence at the high end of the guidelines (unlikely I think).

Just as Cohen's sentencing memo was public, so too will be Mueller's, although it might contain redactions of sensitive investigatory information.

Relax. Breathe. There's nothing nefarious here.
