If he were a genuinely-committed activist he'd pick a cause and work on it without tooting his own horn instead of pouncing on every high-profile case he can get in on, regardless of the underlying reason for it. Or he'd volunteer for an organization like the ACLU or the Southern Poverty Law Center.
