3. well FFS, I don't really "welcome" the news about climate change either

Like I didn't "welcome" the news that I needed a new air handler for the heat pump system in my house last year; but that didn't make the situation go away.

I swear, if there are any humans left in the future, they are going to look back and curse all of us for being so selfish and short-sighted.
