It didn't matter that Cheeto surprised them with the TV cameras because they were prepared. They were ready and they knew what they want to accomplish. Cheeto never prepares for anything and that's why he always sounds like an idiot. His audio/visual aids were all lies and misstatements, and Nancy mopped the floor with him.
