The podcast is about Spiro Agnew, but it goes to the heart of the argument that a sitting president or vice president cannot be indicted. In Agnew's case, the USAG threatened to indict him unless Agnew agreed to resign. After consultation with legal scholars on the topic, Agnew blinked. There is no consensus that a sitting president or vice president cannot be indicted.
