19. Sad that so many Deplorables are still being misled about the true state of affairs

I had a beer with a friend of mine last night who apparently only pays attention to politics via his other friends in our very, very red state, mixed together with a little Rush and FOX for good measure. He told me yesterday that MEXICO had approved building a wall and the US has committed 10.6 billion dollars to them to help get it built. He questioned why we couldn't appropriate 5 billion dollars to build it on our side of the border for half the price.

If this is how these folks are being conditioned to think, it's no wonder there's no reaching them.
