36. Not going to lie, as a Bernie supporter during the primary, the attacks against him and supporters

...absolutely disgust me, but again, that wasn't what I was being asked to mull over. That post stood accused of name-calling a fellow poster and from what I could see it was nothing of the sort. I do need to point out, though, calling out by name another poster is generally avoid if not outright prohibited for just this reason. I'd advise skipping those keystrokes in the future, just for a layer of protection.

Until an individual is exposed with the receipts of their payment in rubles, I, you, and everyone else here have to operate under the assumption that the person we're arguing with on the other side of the screen is not, in fact, a Russian bot just because they disagree with our personal position or didn't support our personal candidate at such and such time.

People keep forgetting that sowing discord was the biggest part of this Russian psyops campaign against the United States and still fucking is. They didn't stop, and won't stop until they're made to stop. We have to be smarter than that and remember that disagreements are part of a healthy democracy. Primaries are, always have been, and always will be passionate affairs. And a healthy democracy needs a battle of ideas, not of personal identities or who is properly a member of what party. With the exception of maybe 3 senate Democrats, Bernie has voted against Trump more than the rest of said party. That fuckwit (D, yes, D) from W.Virginia has voted *with* Trump of 60% of the time. "But Bernie isn't a Democrat." I'm so fucking tired of hearing that. You fell behind Hillary in '16, you fell behind Obama in '08, you'll fall behind whoever is the DemNom in '20. Even if that's Bernie (which it won't be, even I'd rather it not be at this point). This in-fighting shit among good people is fucking obnoxious, and exactly what Russia wants. It's hilarious among the conservatives, because their ideas are shit and they are shit for having them (or possibly planted by the Russians, just like they attacked the left with similar tactics). But we at least want better for everyone, including the conservatives even when they spit in our faces.
