22. I've got some NRA Rifleman magazines from 1963, before the JFK assassonation

in the lawmakers section they clearly made it known that they were fighting any kind of state and federal bills requiring registration of firearms, they also had pull in government at the time as many bills were introduced to protect gun rights. They have been doing this a long time.
