Trey Gowdy has finally done something to benefit and serve his country. He left.
It sure took him long enough!!! But better late than never.
When Richard Nixon lost the gubernatorial election in California in 1962, he said he was quitting politics, and told the press "you won't have Dick Nixon to kick around any more." (He didn't, and they did)
What these Republicans have never grasped is that the Democrats and the press never had as their goal to kick them around in the first place. All we wanted was to kick them out.
