In reply to the discussion: Mulvaney: Trump offering to take concrete wall 'off the table' [View all]NanceGreggs
(27,835 posts)12. "What's driving this ...
... is the president's desire to change the conditions at the border."
Uh, nope.
What's driving this is Spanky McShithole's desire to have a lasting monument to his own self-perceived greatness - such as it is.
If the Dems offered him $10 billion for the wall - on the condition that it be labelled and known as the Barack Obama Wall, or the Hillary Clinton Wall - he'd lose interest in the whole idea of a wall within two minutes.
People like Mulvaney should restrict their remarks to FOX-News programs, where the Walking Brain-Dead actually swallow this kind of bullshit.

He's worried that he'll look "foolish" if he gives in to the Dems.

Something smells fishy: First: tarrifs on foreign steel, now: 2000 miles of steel "Wall".

The IDEA itself is laughably obscene. It's solely down to 45's outsized vanity now.
